I guess I expect Toledo to lose this game. If they win, I will be surprised and happy about it, but we would still need NIU to lose another game for it to mean very much beyond a second place finish in the West - which is where we were picked to finish.

The good thing for me is that my fall season was already made good by the Red Sox winning the World Series. I had been a Red Sox fan for 35+ years before being able to celebrate a WS championship. And that was their first in 86 years. A lot of Red Sox fans were born and died and never saw a championship season out of them. Now they have won 4 in 14 years. Already drank the championship champagne I put in the refrigerator at the start of every year, hoping to drink it before New Year's Eve. I can buy more champagne, but I don't think I will be celebrating another championship this year.
