GCU vs SDSU
So far Lopes are looking strong with 7:30 left in the first half. Currently it is a 20-18 Lopes lead. Defense has been good for the most part. Three point shooting is a bit suspect so far though.

RE: GCU vs SDSU
Lots of fouls is a bit worrying. Thankfully SDSU is not making their free throws.

RE: GCU vs SDSU
Halftime it is SDSU 38 and GCU 36. GCU foolishly gave away an easy two points at the end of the half.
SDSU seems to be playing their starters way more than GCU has been. Hopefully that will give us an advantage in the 2nd half.
M. Daum and J. Jenkins are the two stars for SDSU so far (as expected). For GCU, Frayer, M. Finke and Drechsel are playing well. Lever and C. Johnson have yet to get going. Looking forward to the 2nd half. COGS

RE: GCU vs SDSU
Lever picked up his 3rd foul just a minute into the 2nd half. He has got to find a way to stay out of foul trouble.

60-50 SDSU
Seems like GCU is taking too many 3-pointers. Plus Mike Daum is a beast. He has a nose for the ball much like Jemarrio Jones of NMSU did last year.

RE: GCU vs SDSU
Great comeback by GCU. 24 seconds left and only down by three. If not for Jenkins making two well contested 3-pointers, we would be ahead.

GCU loses 79-74. Great game! I really like the look of GCU this year. Much, much better than last year's team. Go Lopes!

RE: GCU vs SDSU
GCU has now given up 27 and 31 points to guards of each D1 opponent they've faced this year. David Jenkins put up 31 tonight. Nigel Hawkins put up 27 in the GCU/UTEP super-secret scrimmage. Harris and/or Zamora gunna eat GCU alive if Majerle don't figure that out by conference play.
