I've seen a couple of people tweet--including Jalen Perry--that Jeremiah Bell is eligible to play this season. If that is true, that is big news. We need help in shooting big-time, and he can help us there.

Lit it up pretty well from beyond the arc at UW-Milwaukee before transferring here, but it was always assumed he would have to sit out this year. Obviously, something happened so that he is eligible.

Hope so. Go Blazers.

Coach said on postgame that he worked out and ran in the morning as he wasn’t expecting to play last night.
It’s going to take JB some time for him to get in-game chemistry with his teammates.

His immediate Eligibility helps the team in two major ways. First, he can handle the ball and backup Scootie when needed. Second, he can score, specifically from outside (hit 75 3s this past season at Milwaukee).

We had some decent moments last night and that was without JB contributing much. He certainly raises our ceiling and gives me hope that we can sneak our way into top 4 contention in CUSA play if a lot of things go right.
