As a conference we have 7 teams over 30,000. Temple at 28,000 needs to improve. Kudos to UCF!

Not bad. UCF ahead of 17 P5 programs. These are P5 programs that get marquee conference games coming to their place. How pathetic.

Every school on that list, with the possible exception of UCF, which this year had a banner season ticket sale, is puffing up its numbers big time.

In the recent "expose' " on the topic Navy's Chet Gladchuk said that Navy's announced attendance is scanned tickets.

Houston will finish with an average below 30K.

The Temple game is homecoming (a plus) and at night (a plus). But it was dealt a death blow by the SMU loss. And the weather is supposed to be in the 40s.

Not UCF. Every game has had exactly what we're announcing and only a few games had any empty corner areas. I think the Navy game is already sold out.

I don't buy that. Been to all the UC home games and that number seems about right when it's at peak capacity for the game.

SMU and Tulane have had a couple of games that look like 10k in actual attendance. Also what is that thing in SMU's endzone...is it permanent? it looks like some party zone or something.

Houston's attendance has looked decent on tv.

also, I have to hand it to UConn… the football team has been pretty bad for quite a while now and attendance has not completely cratered...

This makes me sad, and I wonder if we can ever recapture the magic that we had back in the Skip Holtz and early Ruff years.

I agree. I've been to every UC home game as well and I think the number is pretty close.

Thought this was interesting in light of the topic (and my continued insistence that I hope USF never builds an on campus stadium - or at least until we figure out what college football attendance is going to look like in 10-20 years)...
