Hofstra lost a close one to a very good Marshall team. JWF gives them a chance against just about anyone in the country. Never have been a fan of Mihalich though

Charleston got a nice home win against Rhode Island. So far, they appear to have picked up where they left off.

Hofstra should win that one. A&T just got crushed by a very average Maryland squad. Drexel has their home opener tonight against DIII Bryn Athyn in games we all love so much.

NU up 11 at half and currently up 42-30 near the under 16 in the second half. Would be a nice win for them.

Disappointing news on the 2019 Charleston Classic. Towson(again) will be the CAA representative. They played in it recently. I really thought the Tribe would play in it and if the Tribe didn't, UNCW would be the choice. It is a good 3 game tournament against good opponents.

I asked Riley to look into that. We haven't had a turn in Charleston since Benny Moss

Going on 10+ for us.

The Charleston tournament is the only major ESPN preseason tournament the CAA is guaranteed a team for entry. If it isnt going to be merit based, which I would support, it should be rotated.

RE: CAA (Non-UNCW) Non-Conference 2018 - 2019
Would love to see us in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic (Not sure if next years teams have been announced). The games are played during Christmas (22nd-25th) and are always on the one of the ESPN networks. I watch them every year because there are no other games on during that time. The tournament does not usually attract the elite programs. This year has Bucknell, Charlotte, Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana State, Rhode Island, TCU, and UNLV.

We have a return trip to Stanford next year, just a 6 hour plane to the island of Oahu.
