Christiansen Extended
A few weeks late on this post, but the Hornets extended Christiansen for 7 years thru 2026. I heard he interviewed at a Pac12 program and a high profile BW program. Not sure if he was extended an offer at either place. No brainer move by Orr to extend Coach C.
Also some turnover among the assistant coaches.
Quote:"SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento State head baseball coach Reggie Christiansen announced several changes to his coaching staff for the upcoming 2020 season. Former Hornet David Flores will return to Sacramento State as the team's hitting coach, Tyler LaTorre will be hired as the pitching coach and Toby DeMello will serve as the volunteer assistant.
The pair replace Jake Angier and Tim Wheeler who both played large roles in the team's success. Angier was recently hired as the pitching coach at Oregon and had spent six seasons under Christiansen at Sacramento State. Wheeler, who was an All-American and first round draft pick for the Hornets, spent three seasons as an assistant before deciding to pursue other career opportunities."

RE: Christiansen Extended
I think I heard the same about Stankiewicz at GCU (interviewed Pac-12 & eventually extended), but will have to find the specifics.
Update: Here is the article. Coach extended 4 years, through 2023.

RE: Christiansen Extended
Sac State and GCU did the right thing. Good for you guys. Wish we could have kept Green but our new hire seems promising.
