While we've always felt running back is our strongest position, I'm not sure right now Percy is not our best back. He seems to have the best combined speed, strength, and receiving capabilities.

Would not be surprised if he is our best back down the stretch and that is saying something.

Would be surprised if healthy, if he does not dominate the next two years.

With our playoff hopes dwindling we might as well see if Percy can be a 20+ carries back in advance of the 2019 season.

The three headed trio of seniors haven't done anything special. Thank them for their leadership and give it to Percy the next two weeks.

Agreed......I think we have too much rotation going on at RB (have thought that all season). It is hard to get in a groove/flow when you are only getting 5-10 carries per game. I think we are trying to hard to share the football and keep everyone happy. This RB load needs to be shared primarily with 2 guys. Right now I think that should be Sharp and Percy.

I love Cardon but after all the injuries he just is not the same guy now. I guess Marcus is hurt no clue what the injury is and he seems to have regressed some from the end of last year. I think Marcus has the most talent/upside but simply not showing it on the field (that could also be from a lack of carries).

Cardon definitely isn't the runner we say last year. I was hoping as the year progressed we'd see that improve. I thought perhaps he needed to trust his body more, but I think now the problem is more about his physical capability not being the same. It's a shame because he was such an incredible runner.
He definitely deserves comeback player of the year, but he just isn't the same. Not to say he's garbage, just that he isn't the definitive number 1 that he would have been.

Cardon does not have the speed or explosiveness he used to have.

Percy again. I don't get it.

Two touches yesterday
1) A great TD run that was called back due to penalty, but an awesome run.

2) Another play that looked like he broke out for a potential big gainer and the ref called the play dead for some reason. Went back and watched, and it never looked like his knee was anywhere close to down to me.

Two touches and two great plays, but no more touches? I don't get it, other than perhaps it was senior day.

Percy could be the Amos of running backs. He really seems to be coming on like Amos did the end of last year with punt returns, but can't seem to get the ball.

Percy appears to be a difference maker. He needs the ball.
