Yeah --- the UH library is the 'John O'Quinn Library' <shudder>

The only funnier naming fiasco is at the hospital in South Central El Paso that is the home to the Texas Tech Medical School there. The Emergency wing is named after one of the leading plaintiff's attorney there.

Talk about 'just in time advertising'.

Back in the 80's, when Picabo(pronounced peek-a-boo) Street was a leading US skier she funded a unit at the local hospital, and it was known as the Picabo ICU.
