I agree that this is a dumb idea, particularly for the coldest game of the year. It MIGHT have been a good idea on that 95 degree noon kickoff in September, but not so much on a cold night game in November. I would dare say few of us have white coats.

I will be seen in green.

RE: Saturday's WhiteOut Helmet
I don't like it either, BUT if we're going to do it, I will participate.

If I have to, I'll get a big white t-shirt and wear it over my warm Blazer gear!

Wear white!! (Or at least wear gray?)

And another thing, I think the smoked wings at Moe's BBQ are the best wings.

LSU gets away with it every home game. With the pettiness of the SEC I would expect to see them in their purple unis

We beat them while they wore those ugly purple unis 03-wink

That LSU team voted to wear the purple in part because it was also their Homecoming game that season.

Indeed. I’ve always said since the OCS got torpedoed that we should wear white at home as long as we play at Legion Field.

Maybe we should switch to a toga party over our jackets?

It's happened before. Vanderbilt forced them to wear purple in 96 out of spite. But the sec revised their rules so that the home team chooses now during conference games

...whenever Spurrier (FL or SC) played them in Baton Rouge, he also made them wear the purple... ...and although I don't follow the NFL much except for the Blazers there, I'm pretty sure the Cowboys always wear white unless 'refused'... maybe that's changed...
