right or wrong, annoying as it is....it's really not that uncommon anymore.

and i think it's because the NCAA doesn't allow those exhibition games anymore. So now teams are scheduling a "preseason" game against a D2 as a for the record tuneup, as opposed to the true exhibition game it used to be a few years ago.

We had an exhibition game against a non-Div I opponent.

Maybe they need a Div IAA in basketball for those schools like JMU that can't compete in Div IA in men's sports but have fine Div I women's programs.

Are you intentionally trolling us, or do you not understand how the basketball works?

It's still sickening. I'd want a partial refund of my ticket price.

Dukes are doing free admission if you wear a "I Voted" sticker tonight. Could hit triple digits attendance with the promotion.

If they count their truckers passing thru it could hit 4 digits.

RE: CUSA Basketball
Not to pee all over LaTech’s nice win but Wichita replaces a ton from last year’s team. They’ll be respectable but unless the kids grow up quick, they’ll be out of the postseason (presuming that aac teams don’t take CBI or CIT bids)

EDIT: with that said any win on the road against a team people have heard of is always good, so unironic congratulations from this county!

That's the end of a 3 game road swing from Charlotte to UTEP to UTSA. If UTSA is this god awful that would be a terrible game to drop, but the formula is there.
