Based on everything I've read and heard regarding the job Joe Dooley has done during the offseason... I expect that we will beat Delaware St. I know that's not a really "going out on a limb" prediction, but based on our performance vs similar teams last year with a better ECU roster, I have to be cautiously optimistic.

Even if we don't blow them out, I fully expect ECU to absolutely wear them down and grind out a W. Supposedly we were all fat and out of shape when Dooley arrived, and now everybody is under 4% body fat. (Isaac Fleming lost 20 pounds! And he's a Point Guard.)

Considering we lost narrowly to NC State and beat Wake Forest in scrimmages, I feel good about this team. Dooley has said openly that our talent level needs to increase dramatically... so this year will be hit or miss. But I fully expect our team to play hard as hell and never quit... unlike the Lebo years.

I have no idea what to expect from WSUs two games. I'll be happy with 1-1.

An article from the Cookeville Herald-Citizen (Tn Tech is in Cookeville) states Tn Tech is missing up to four players - including three players 6-7 and over. It could account for the Tiger's double digit spread.

? I would expect a double digit spread even with a full Tenn Tech roster. With all those missing players, I'd expect a total blowout (exhibition style).
