RE: Sun Belt basketball schedule for Week 1 (Tues 11/6 thru Sun 11/11)
Auburn has hit eight three pointers in the first 12 minutes of our game and they are blowing us out. And not just any three pointers, but Steph Curry type three pointers that are falling. They are good.

Auburn hit 12 three pointers in the first half and hold a 52-33 lead over the Jags at the half.

ETSU had a veeeeerrry chippy defense and their players got in our players' faces.
I also learned that ETSU is ranked at #101 on Massey Rating. Very surprised.

Ill take the W for sure. We need to execute little more crisp during the upcoming stretch of games against Montana, St.Bonaventure, Creighton, Tulane, and Alabama.
Congrats on your win as well. 125 points...jeesh.

7-1 day for the league. Favorites won all 8 games.
5-0 vs. non-D1, GSU gets the best win of the night over ETSU, ULM beat Jackson State on the road.
Only disappointment really was USA getting beaten so badly, but man Auburn couldn't miss a shot. I watched maybe a third of the game and it must have been like 50-4 in the time frame in which I was watching. Auburn a very good team, was hoping the Jags could keep it within 20 or so.

Trust me we know! It has been a point of contention for a long time. There aren’t many fans who are fond of Bobby Big Fish’s scheduling practices. But he will point to playing Kansas and Tennessee as being tough games when they will beat the brakes off of us like we did to the Virgin Islands.
I really wish we would get rid of him. But his recruiting has drastically improved over the last three years. He really just needs to schedule better.

well UTA and new coach/players knocked off UT-Tyler last night 90-66. several of the new guys looked pretty good. cant shoot threes tho and with no real size this year that could be bad as we may be doing a lot of shooting from the perimeter. we have UNI coming in sat. that game should be an indicator of sorts.

Seriously, Is that even a real thing (Carver Bible College)? Or was this some kind of scrimmage against an obscure school from some third world country?
Where would you even go to find a Carver Bible College? .. a real head scratcher . .

I hate these games. At least we have reduced them to 1-2 per year. We used to play 3-4. An 88 point win— ridiculous. Next game is vs a good George Mason team

We were 1 point short of the all-tine record. But 139 points does break our 44 yr old Div 1 record.

Ease up there Hoss . . . All I'm tryin' to do is have a little fun with our friends from jawja. . . . .
Hell, I bet half of them don't know where Carver Bible College is, and I hear it's in Jawja . . . somewhere . . .
FWIW: I hate our OOC Hoops Scheduling (for the most part). Precisely for the reason you cite. . . .

With Kasper Ball, 85 is the rough equivalent of 139...
