no. I tried for six months to have my password reset after forgetting it with no success. Eventually I gave up. fast forward a year and I created a new name so I could post on my phone again. I have Schnauzers hence the name.

On the opposing side NC. State would be a good place to Land. They have the NC State Nation, if it did happen who would be the replacement for him - with what the Blazers have, I could name a few that would desire to take the job. Is Cale Gundy Available.

we should drink out of the same well. John Grass at JSU is 36-1 in conference play since taking over when Clark left.

I agree with you. Possible openings and my thought if Coach Clark would be interested.

Maryland-------No
Kansas----------No
Rutgers---------No
Illinois-----------Doubtful
Louisville----------Yes (Purdue's Jeff Brohm would be favorite)
North Carolina -----Yes
Oklahoma State-------Doubtful
GA Tech (if coach retires)-----Yes
Ohio State------------They would want a bigger name
Kansas State----No

Seems to always be a surprise. The domino effect could happen also.

I honestly don't understand why people think North Carolina is an attractive job right now. It is a complete dumpster fire and is not far removed from major controversy.

I suspect from the rumblings that I'm hearing that the pressure is already on Ingram and Watts to screw with Clark and try to make him want to leave.

Precisely. And that’s why we have to be Ever Faithful, Ever Vigilant. They’re not done with us yet. It won’t be too difficult for Fumbles to announce Neil Callaway 2.0 as the replacement coach. Go to games, buy tickets, support the Foundation, and keep giving them hell.

I hope we don't have to deal with that again this go around. They can't deny the unprecedented success we're having.

After all that Clark has been through, I'd want to stick to them if I was him.

Why do you think head coaching jobs come open? Usually there are problems.

There hasn't been consistent competition against Clemson in the ACC. North Carolina was pretty good just two years ago. NC is in the opposite division from Clemson. They could consistently compete with VT and Miami in the Coastal Division.

It’s a major university in an average power conference. They have huge egos and will spend on football if they think they can become the next Clemson. I think Clark would have them in the playoffs in five years.

RE: Clark's Contract...
Irks me when people think they know what Coach Clark will or won't do. When no one really knows that but Coach himself. Some of the same people saying that he will leave for a bigger school after this season also said he would leave after the program shut down. I am not saying he won't, I am just saying we don't know. Maybe it's better to say "I think Coach might leave..."

Nothing like a nice win and magical season to bring them out of the woodwork.

I'm sorry, I hadn't even gotten to your post when I posted that. Was not referring to your post. I too think he will have a massive amount of interest, but one must ask what is important to him (family (new grandbaby?, money?, making history?...), only he knows the answer.

All of that is true. But a biggie would be to keep using the recruiting territory that he knows. Problem is that a lot of the "local" jobs were open last year. Such as Ole Miss, Miss St., Fla St, Tenn.

But there can always be surprises. I was surprised two years ago when Matt Ruhle went from Temple to Baylor. That one came out of left field.

we cant afford that, the bot wont let us spend that, and it wont be enough to compete against cartel schools. if he gets the right offer he leaves. if he does not he stays. he turned down more money before but there is a big difference in a couple hundred increase vs a couple million increase.

Y'all do realize that there is a campaign to increase his and the assistants' pay, right? One of my fraternity brothers is helping spearhead it and I've gotten several emails about it.

What?

Kansas has a bigger upside than North Carolina right now. I don't think Clark would take a job at either of those schools, tbh.

Kansas has not been to a bowl game since 2008. North Carolina has been to seven since then. North Carolina is also in a much better recruiting area. North Carolina has been ranked in the top ten in the last five years. Kansas did win their first road game since 2009 this year

With the foundation we could.

Thank God for the foundation, but we cannot expect the foundation to be able to pony up money whenever we need it. There are limits to everything. Don't forget what may be significant $ are still expected to be raised in support of UAB's football program - albeit a task that would be significantly more difficult without HCBC.
