I tend to agree. We are now bowl eligible and likely will win one of the last 2 to end 7-4. I don't think one more win is going to help, but another loss might. I'm not sure the team is as good as a 7-4 record would indicate.

I think the chips are going to fall where they will regardless of 7-5, or 8-4, so I would not schedule another game, and be as healthy as possible for a bowl game.

They're already advertising the UTSA as our Senior Day and final home game.

If VA Tech would give us a return game in Huntington, even if it's five years from now I'd be fine with it, not sure there's any benefit if we don't get that. I do think VA Tech needs a game if they want a chance to be bowl eligible.

There would be zero purpose for a 12th game other than to get our guys hurt. We are not a healthy football team right now. We are already bowl eligible. Another game (and win) isn’t going to amount to a hill of beans in our bowl selection. Let’s just try to finish 8-3, stay healthy, and get to our December Bowl.

The 12/1 game got a little more likely since Miami is about to beat them. IF, and it's far from a lock, they can beat UVA next week, we'll be in Blacksburg 12/1 and given how they're playing we might very well beat them.

Deal is in place for Marshall @ Va Tech on Dec 1st if needed. The deal protects Marshall's $1.4million payout for SC game payday. Final payout will be difference for Marshall's Va Tech payday and the $1.4million guarantee.

They way I understood it to be was that We go there and get $100,000 (I think) just for inking the deal. Then we would get $300,000 IF this game is played to be deducted from the 1.4 MM. Then a home and home after that.

Va Tech Defense is AWFUL, looking very doubtful there will be a game next week. At a minimum Tech needs to fire Foster, maybe the entire coaching staff.

Shocker!!!! VA Tech wins. 34 - 31 I hope we don't say that next week. I hope DOC and company noticed conservative play calling at the end of the game cost UVA. Marshall needs to play wide open the entire game.
