UC 28-14

Against Tulane, USF didn't play their leading tackler MLB McGee for shoving their DC in the Houston game.
They didn't play their #2 and #3 receivers against the Greenies. All are expected to play Saturday.
Bearcats have done OK against Charlie Strong. 2010 and 2011 were wins against Loserville. The next two
years went to OT with a very good UL team and Teddy Bridgewater at QB. Last year doesn't count.
Unfortunately, the Bearcats didn't play Texas in the intervening years.

Desmond Ridder is from Louisville St. Xavier HS. He didn't get a scholarship offer from UL. In his recruiting class
of 2017, UL only signed one player from Kentucky. I don't think Ridder is a fan of anyone connected with UL
nor USF for that matter. He was in Tampa last year. Revenge is a dish best eaten really cold! Like 27 degrees cold

USF appears to have lost their mojo the past two weeks; hope they don't decide this is their turnaround game. I don't think they're as bad defensively as recent scores indicate. I also believe it's easy for us to overstate the impact of the cold weather, although we've witnessed that before with the Bulls in Nippert. UC prevails, but it will be a battle to the end, as USF has run away from UC in recent games:

USF is going to be most offensively skilled opponent we've seen to date. Also probably the best special teams-- their kick returner is a beast.

I predict the game will be tougher than some believe, and a shootout-- 41-38 Bearcats

Can't imagine he'll get any waiver for this season considering how deep we are into the year. He'll have to make next year his last - unless he RS cuz he's not ready to compete. I can't see that happening tho.

Ridder was in 8th grade when Charlie Strong last coached at Louisville. There's no connection there.
