In watching the UT-BSU replay
It seems the defense has really settle in now. Offense, besides scoring 45 points, scares me with Peters throwing some bad balls for interceptions. Can't do that against NIU and win. Just think, UT wins out and they are 8-4.

Anyone noticed when both coaches after the game met on the field, Neu had some words for Candle and they were not flattering and I read Jason's mouth and I believe he said "what." I guess Neu thought Candle was running up the score with that last passing TD. As they parted, I noticed Jason pointing at the scoreboard with his one finger. BTW no hand shakes between the coaches.

I believe the old addage goes something along the lines of:
"If you don't want them to score, stop them"

And Neu wasn't looking to run the clock out. He just wanted the ball back to try to make the score not look as bad. You can almost guarantee if Ball State scored instead of being picked off at the end of game, the Cards would have onsided the kickoff.

I believe he was pointing at the team to head towards the band for the playing of the alma mater and fight song, which they gather for after games.
