I just read on Twitter that Olive Branch's game tonight was called in the 3rd quarter because a fan tried to get at DJ and fight him. Wiseman and Lomax were there. Anyone else hear this? Crazy if true.

Maybe salty Ole Miss or Miss State fan?

Man that’s messed up. I wonder why they couldn’t remove the jerk arrest him and continue the game?

That's my take away from this thread. Not whether the dimwit was a Ole Miss or Mississippi State fan but the fact that Wiseman was at DJs High School game. And with Lomax.

It was a heated game. DJ Jeffries had just drawn a foul, & was bumped by Byhalia. Words were exchanged.

That’s when a Byhalia fan tried to get to DJ. OB HC Eric Rombaugh intervened. Both teams were sent to the locker room. Game was suspended shortly thereafter.

Sounds like this “fan” has some big internet muscles and forgot the game was in real life. DJ probably could have handled him.

When there are on the court problems between players you have to wonder about the mentality of a guy who thinks it's his responsibility to run on the court and try to fight one of them.

Ran onto the court to attack a player ... while the game was in progress...I’ve never heard of that. I mean I’ve heard of players climbing into the stands to attack a fan.
