That's a given. He has a five-year contract.

UTEP doing literally exactly what we should be doing. Throwing the house on every passing down and rattling Green.

Negative yards for UTEP on first down, but Rice is offsides so first and 5 for UTEP.

Immediately followed by a deep pass complete to the Rice 30 yard line.

Great slogans.

We're not bringing Bailiff back.

Good...but how would we tell the difference?

I hate to admit you have a point. "Anybody But Bailiff" so far is not looking much different. He appeared to for a few games at season's start. But I will hope that if he can get a QB in here and a few of his own recruits, perhaps he can do marginally better than the Bail. I will agree with Owl #s' early season assessment that smash in your face football might not be the best strategy here at Rice. Wonder what RUOwlz would have done with these guys?

Get Bickham off the field. He's a liability at this point. Might as well try out some of the freshmen DBs.

Green has knee brace on. Is that due to a recent injury? Seemed to have a slight hitch in his gait. We need our QB to be mobile and not hampered at all by injury or brace.

Really good coaches get the best out of their players. We're just not seeing that.

I think we’re just bad. I’m not sure what you can do when you have FCS talent. Our guys weren’t recruited by anyone. We play even with FCS talent.

Put it this way. If I can run at you and burn you over the top how do you stop me. Can’t play me tight. QB has all day. You’re going to lose.

They are on our 20, and we're giving them 12 yards cushion?? WTF

Can't even call it bad tackling since there isn't any.

Completely unprepared to play.

How about we blitz more than 5? Or stop playing Bickham in press coverage? You may be right. Maybe there is nothing the staff can do. But I'm not seeing any adjustments so how would we know?
