A player can do the same thing and leave whenever he wants. The difference is coaches make millions of dollars. It goes both ways IMO.

I'm not arguing that it's justified or ethical. Just saying it happens pretty much during every coaching change. Of all the things that Fleck does that may "follow him around", that is not really one of them. It's become just part of the deal.

His "happy birthday texts" (wink wink) to our current players, which KB snuffed out, was more egregious than him taking his recruits to Minnesota.

The recruit poaching stung and it felt he took more than his 'fair share' (however that may be defined), putting Lester in an immediate hole with time ticking down. But if those kids were smitten with Fleck and wouldn't want to come to WMU without him, then we wouldn't want them here either anyhow.
