Quite a few extra games on 12/1 this year. If the Rebels beat the Gamecocks Saturday, this will likely be a matchup of two 5-6 teams.

Virginia Tech also lost a home game. They still have a realistic chance at the ACC's CCG that week, though. That makes it hard for them to schedule someone like Southern Miss who lost an away game and could use a payday.

It might be hardest for schools like West Virginia and UCF to find an opponent for the same reasons, plus they are too good to schedule if you need a win for bowl eligibility.

I will be there loud and proud. It will actually be somewhat refreshing to play the week after Clemson, we will either immediately get the bad taste out after a loss or (unlikely) be celebrating the upset of the century. Hoping for a good crowd regardless.

When VT gets eliminated from their division race I anticipate that they will reach out to USM regarding a Dec game that would allow the winner to become bowl eligible.
