Was at the game. Draining 3s all day. Maybe Hawkins has finally recognized the significance of having a decent 3-pointer attack?

IMO Recognizing the significance wasn’t an issue as much as being able to recruit those players.
Current team is loaded with outside shooters.
First REAL test is Tuesday vs Detroit.

29 assists yesterday is just amazing and shows a real “team” approach.

Edit: WMU stat history shows All Time single game assist high was 24 vs USC in 2003.

Oh my, so many optimists here. Against Eastern, we won't get one of those 3-pointers off, let alone make them. We have a team of midgets. Did the Hawk forget that you need height to have a decent basketball team. Our center against a real team plays maybe 15 minutes.

Rule changes are encouraging Smallball basketball with four shooters.

Will it work for Hawkins is TBD.
He certainly has guys playing as a TEAM

I couldn't disagree more. The MAC is a forward-driven league. The teams in this league win with 6'7 and 6'8 guys.

You're right, it is and we only have one guy over 6'5 in Johnson. And one 7' guy that can't play.
This is a 5-10 win team.
I recommend you look at Eastern's roster and stats.
I'm done here. Way too many stupid people.

Wrong.

We have 5 players at 6'5"

Emilien and Ikongshul are 6'6'

Johnson is 6'8" and Dugan 7' as you said.

You're right... too many stupid people here. 03-drunk

Not being optimistic, just enjoyed seeing a solid 3 point game for once.

Also, we didn't seem to have a major height advantage over K.
