Too little too late to help Morrisey get over the line in WVA. Probably a close (3-4 pts.) race when it’s all said and done, though.

Voters in WV screwed up by picking Morrisey over Evan Jenkins in the primary. Morrisey is a scum bag and just has too much baggage to win.

Manchin survived better GOP challengers than Morrisey, I see a 10 point route, Morrisey is a buffoon.

I agree. Manchin isn't bad though. I kind of like him.

He had the brains to understand that by voting Aye on Kavanaugh and Gorsuch, he could get re-elected and have the political freedom to vote *Against* Trump’s position as often as he likes. And that will be about 80% of the time — wait and see.

Heitkamp and McCaskill could’ve made the same deal but were unwilling to do so. They can reflect on the wisdom of that strategy when they become private citizens on 03rd January 2019. One or two more of their colleagues may have that opportunity, as well.

Machin is a rare breed, a right leaning democrat that you really haven't seen for about 20 years. If he had been from another state when he started his political career he would have run as a republican. However, back then a republican never got elected in WV.

I live in southern Ohio, which is about as red as it gets. How red? When Clinton was running in 1992 he came to the county seat to campaign and wanted to stay overnight with a local politician to show how much of a regular guy he was. No one would put him up for the night so he ended up staying somewhere in KY. In you want to win on this side of the river, you run as republican.

Adamis Pharma just got approval this year for a competitor injection system called Symjepi, which was delayed for years because of FDA/Mylan shenanigans. They have partnered with Novartis/Sandoz to bring it to market, but sales have been slack so far. Mylan gets much of their sales of the Epipen from government and corporate sources, like school districts, fire departments, ambulances etc. Those organization simply buy once a year and repeat a year later before the expiration date. The consumer market is vastly discounted. Human organizations just don’t respond quickly enough even to better products if it costs them additional $.

The free market system is working but the media never reports that. Only business media provide factual answers.

Lived in an actual red part of WV, but even there it was like big corporations owed every one a living. That was so much the mentality, rather than personal responsibilty, that I got a transfer out for my sanity. There are good people there, but too many are stuck in the muck and mire and don’t realize they actually have talents and abilities and a way to get out with the right attitude rather than claiming victimhood.

The WV governmental systems were the worst cesspools I’d ever seen. Severe penalties in the tax code if one made money outside a normal corporate paycheck. It’s like everyone had a have a bimonthly paycheck and if you had extra income from other legal sources, it was confiscated. - an entrepreneurs nightmare. I couldn't afford to be in a family agriculral business that only had sales normally one quarter a year.
