If you assume the polls are accurate, its still unpredictable. If there is a late deciding wave for one party or the other or for or against incumbents, the tossups could heavily go one way or the other. RCP has the D gaining 8 to 44 (203 to 239) with a median of 26 (221). If the incumbents win most of the close races, then it will be about 230 Republicans and 205 Democrats.

The rather informal poll of registered voters in the Dunk Household has narrowed it to a similar margin of possible gains of 6 seats to 42. Or, no gains, maybe even some losses.
