Wow...just... Wow
Mr. New York City just might be the most exciting player to ever don a UA-Little Rock uniform. No doubt he is the quickest. His cross-over dribble allowed him to leave players, who see him everyday in practice, in the dust looking flat-footed and bewildered. I can't wait to see him against players who are seeing his speed and quickness for the first time. His outside shooting was more than impressive. His passing was something to behold. Maybe the most impressive thing was that his teammates were ready and able to finish his no-look, on the money, bullet-like passes for easy buckets.

If not for Mr. Nowell, I would have been gushing about Rayjon Tucker being one of the best players I've seen in a Trojan uniform. He is incredibly athletic and a dunking machine. Him teaming up with Nowell for ally-oop slam dunks will be a thing to behold all season long.

Deondre Burns has improved more than I expected. At worst, he will be a very solid Sun Belt player.

Kris Bankston will be the most improved sophomore in the conference. He was impressive as a freshman, but he looks ready to take a giant leap this year.

Kamani Johnson looks ready to have a Bankston-like freshman season.
Nikoli Maric has a very nice touch from the outside- if he can develop more of an inside game he will be force to be reckoned with. Dani Koljanin will be a nice addition as an experienced graduate transfer. Ryan Pippens looked good and will provide a very solid back-up for Mr. Nowell.

Of course, it was just an intrasquad scrimmage. Still I was much more impressed than I expected. We will be extremely fun to watch and should be able to compete well in the Sun Belt. We certainly don't look a 12th place Sun Belt team.

Let the comparisons with Bronx native and ua pg Kareem Reid begin. Marquis is damn good.

I am excited to see them next week! So we know Dunkum is sitting out the season, do we know anything about Carlo Marble? Is he associated with the team in any way?

Carlos is waiting for a waiver and is not practicing. I don't believe he graduated from his junior college?

That was what I was wanting to hear. I can't wait to see this kid.

7 foot transfer from Creighton who originally signed with Lafayette (not Louisiana). Played HS ball in NLR.

Watch this video. He has some meat on him, has a nice hook shot, and is reasonably mobile.

Didn't show much in the scrimmage, but I am hopeful he can be a factor for us eventually. Can't coach size and like you suggest, he did look reasonably athletic.
