We have our worst defense since 2004, and possibly the worst special teams I've seen since I began following the team in the 90s.

So if our starting QB wasn't injured, the gaps in our last two games' scores might've been a little closer, but definitely still decisive losses.

I don't even think we'll beat BSU in the pillow fight next week. Team has basically quit.

Giving up 2 picks tonight didn't help, but giving up 51 and 59 points in the last 2 games is hardly on your QB.

The boat's now on a lake in Minnesota.

Toledo needed that loss. 2 loss WMU loses the tie breaker with us and NIU. Assuming their offense can come alive, them or Miami have outside shots to beat you. Seeing how Akron had a shot as well, I don't hate our chances.

We need to win out (NIU, CMU, KSU)... I like those odds as well. 6-2 Toledo not going to the MAC because of 7-1 NIU, wouldn't make me all that mad.

When I saw that score I felt the same thing. Surprised, can't imagine the tank being that empty in 2 years.

What is happening at WMU should be an cautionary tale for all of the "bring back (enter the name of an NIU great) as head coach" people out there. It doesn't always work out.
