I personally would love to see TJIII start. I think it's low risk, high reward, and may actually make this an exciting game to watch. AJ not being able to throw it deep makes it a bit dull. Granted, I'm not complaining about being able to run counters all day and move the ball, but it doesn't always get my blood pumping. Hell, if he does really well, start him against USM next week and give AJ two weeks to heal up for A&M

It seems the fan base is getting what it wants.

Tj3 getting his start.

I hope he does well, how good does he have to play to get the nod over Erdely

He's speculating. I spoke to Jared and cleared it up for him. No one knows what Clark's going to do.

Thanks. I agree no one knows what HCBC will do. He keeps things close.

Not sure where everyone has come up with the notion that TJ3 was automatically going to start the game.

Clark said that AJ was ok in his conversation with Jox earlier this week.

No reason for Clark to openly mention who will start & play mostly at QB though.

He’s speculating, but I have no problem with Johnston starting and hope he does. AJ needs rest and needs to be ready for the last 3 games. He might even could sit USM out depending on how Johnston looks but AJ is still our true starting quarterback. Just gotta get him as close to 100% as we can for the championship game assuming we make it.

For whatever it's worth, the Underdog Dynasty article has the game time wrong. It says 6:00....game time will be 6:30.

I like this part of the article..."The Blazers’ defense boasts a 13% sack rate, the highest in the nation, and is stuffing 24.8% of all rushing attempts at or behind the line of scrimmage, good for 17th in the nation. UAB is getting stops on 84.3% of their opponents drives, which ranks 1st in the nation ahead of Clemson, Kentucky, Alabama, and Michigan."

I’m really curious which UTSA QB we will see. The freshman they played against USM seemed in over his head, but Grundy hasn’t exactly shown out either

He's a senior. He'll start most of the remaining games and may start Saturday. On the other hand, UTSA should be easy to control and I am highly in favor of Tyler getting game reps.
