How do you figure? NIU has these teams remaining: Toledo, Miami OH, WMU. If they lose to Toledo but beat Miami OH and WMU they would be 6-2. Toledo finishes the season against Kent State and Central Michigan. What are the changes Toledo can beat NIU but would lose to Kent State or CMU? So Toledo and NIU would tie at 6-2 and Toledo would have the head to head tiebreaker.
If NIU beats Toledo they might lose to Miami, but no way I can see them losing to WMU. However, if they somehow did they would be 6-2. Toledo would be 5-3 at best. For WMU, they have 2 games left against NIU and Ball State. In this scenario they would have to beat NIU and I'm pretty sure they can beat Ball State if they can beat NIU.
It's not likely that NIU will go 1-2 in their last 2 games, but the most realistic possibility of that is losing to Toledo and Miami OH. In that scenario, NIU would have to hope that Toledo loses to either Kent State or Central Michigan. Not likely if Toledo is good enough to beat NIU.
I know you guys are not happy with your offense, but your defense is probably the best defense from a MAC team in years.

We would be 7-1 and Toledo would be 6-2, and we win the West under this scenario.

You're right, I meant if they lose to Toledo and one of the other two. Point I was trying to make is that if NIU goes 1-2 they finish 6-2 and it's not likely they go to the MACC game in that scenario. But............what's the possibility that NIU goes 1-2 in their last 3 games? That's not very realistic, IMO.

I agree, Much better scenario is win out and go into the MACC on am 8-game win streak against a maybe top 25 ranked Buffalo. While few things here are unanimous I would think we all could agree on that being the best scenario!
