in your opinion, what will be the biggest game of the season?
Please dont say some forced soulless rivalry with a C-USA team like MTSU, WKU or North Florida International Atlantic University.
Syracuse, no question.
The cards are too stacked against us for that game (long travel, hostile environment, exceptional opponent). I wouldn’t get your hopes up for that game.
We're certainly underdogs, but this is the kind of game that we need to win in order to have a shot at an at-large bid. Anyone who we may face in the NCAA's will likely be at least as good as Syracuse.

Stating the obvious, it comes down to a lack of assertiveness. Anton Larsen, for all his height, was not a premier rebounder.
I don't know that this will turn out to be a concern for either Robinson or Dickens this season. They certainly have the tools to be effective rebounders. But it is a bit worrying that they didn't absolutely dominate the boards against VWU, given their substantial height advantage.
Dickens did assert himself for a period of time in the second half, and he was dominant during that stretch.
No one talked about the presser........so I will add what Jeff said.
BJ/Caver- have to play 30 mins a piece.
Carver- played a little more mins that he expected vs. VWC (23 minutes)
Kalu/Joe- didn't quite play as much as he intended
Elbert/Dickens- Elbert will play 3 min stretches. Dickens will play be stretched out just a little higher
Xavier- Doesn't know how many mins he will play
Did not plan on playing Carver at the 5, but was really successful for the short time that Carver did. Most versatile lineup and ball moves really well when Carver at 5. (Carver, BJ, Green, Godwin, Caver) Not going to play it a ton, but we will see this lineup.
Caver- the offense is more spread out now, which opens up driving lanes for him.
Deepest rotation he's ever had. Reliably play 10. Hard to play 9 guys (9th guy is usually not a double digit guy) Has to try and figure out how to sort it out.
P.S. He thinks VWC will end up being a very good D-3 team.
