Neu was frustrated that Toledo was still running a deep post route, up 25 and with 1:23 to play.

Understandable to be frustrated when you get thumped so I'll chalk it up to that frustration I guess. It ought to be understood Toledo is not the Toledo of most years and is playing a backup QB who needs the reps throwing every ball. That with the fact that Ball State is calling TO's which would indicate "game on." Oh well. Nice to see a little competitive spirit amongst some divisional foes I suppose.

RE: Ball State at Toledo game thread
So this was only the 3rd time in UT history to throw 5 INTs in a single game. Last time was the 49-0 loss to A OSU in 1998. The only time before that was a loss to Miami in 1985. So to throw 5 INTs and still win 45-13? well, that's gotta be one for the records.

Can't possibly fathom that this BSU team was the same one that took Notre Dame down to the wire. Even missing their QB and RBs can't really account for that kind of downfall.

5 interceptions! Yikes! I was planning to watch on replay but win or not, sloppy ball is not entertaining. On the plus side, Peters was 29/34!

I had some work to finish up before leaving for the game, so by the time I was on the road they had already kicked off. I got parked and was walking to the stadium and heard cheering. I walked a little further and heard cheering again. Then as I got to the stairs on the West side I heard "Touchdown Rockets," so by the time I got in the stadium it was already 20-0. I expected the Cards to be weak, but I could hardly believe that.

As far as the picks, it looks like Peters had 4 and Philips had 1, totaling 5 for the game. I thought I heard that BSU had 5, but the stat sheet on the UT site says 2. It seemed like they had more, though.

2 Ints and something like 5 fumbles.
