Where is he?

Should have a bull horn in his hand yelling to anyone who will listen how the AAC screwed by this playoff committee.

He cannot do that, he's the commissioner of one of the leagues that voted for the playoff system - the schools, their local media, alumni, and boosters need to pound the drumbeat.

I was really a big supporter of Aresco when the AAC formed. He was all over the media. He has disappeared the last 2 years. Our AD is like the lone man taking shots all over the country. We can't even get the conference to acknowledge the National Championship from 2017.

Didn't he say something about how if you didn't hear from him he'd be negotiating the new deal?

Anyhow, I don't think UCF is being screwed quite yet. Their toughest games are coming up though.

The Presidents have toned him down so if you have a problem, take it up with them.

Why?

Because by their nature university presidents are political creatures. As such they tend to be optics oriented and conservative by nature. Which is why academics matter in athletic conferences. The president's vote on who is in and they care about whose name is next to theirs. They should care about the name in athletics but their academics so.....

They don't like a rocking boat.

If he doesn’t land a big tv deal... he’s dead to me.

I really hope he’s silently working on a big deal while Danny White carry’s the torch of the P6. Breakfast , Lunch, Dinner, Aresco needs to be up some tv execs @**

RE: Mike Aresco
He used to blow the big horn, but now he's letting the accomplishments speak for themselves. Maybe he's doing real biz with presidents and media people about that fact, rather than worrying about one team or a message board. Let the man work, if the results don't happen then rip him a new one. Sometimes silence is golden.07-coffee307-coffee3

Nothing he says at this point matters. Only thing that matters is the next TV deal, and if that fails I'll lead the charge for him to be fired, tarred and feathered, put in the stocks, or whatever other medieval torture I can think of.

Why?

Because honestly, the other 11 presidents do not recognize or give a rats about UCF’s pretend national title.

Welcome to the truth...

I believe they care. They recognize the importance of athletics to brand.
Otherwise why would a president promise top tear athletic programs repeatedly?

It takes time to count his salary. It is almost equal to what each university gets in the current tv deal. Relax

He is right...Houston...and the AAC as a whole is getting screwed with Houston not being ranked.

As for UCF...I might be able to quibble that UCF should be at #10 instead of #12...but 12 is actually higher than I expected based on who we have played so far.

The integrity of the committee will really be tested if UCF continues to win.
