Some time should be two words, though I'd say it's not necessary because with "soon" we've already established an estimated time element.
New is redundant because you can't start an old thread.
A few tweaks here and there, and let's try this:
Quote:I don't have the time to get into it now, but soon I'm going to start a thread that outlines the latest bombshell on the way.
You're welcome.
I like it, but if we are going for accuracy and efficiency, would we even need "on the way" at the end? Seems like an unnecessary prepositional phrase and, since time is apparently of the essence for OP, not including it saves about three seconds.

IMO the thread should be posted when there is actual news. This is getting like the nightly news where they spend half the time telling you what is coming up next.

I think if you take out "on the way," it implies that he's talking about a recent event instead of a future one. Presumably he means to talk about some big move on his horizon, as opposed to the WAC talking to Metro State about going D-1.
That said, it does save time and that's apparently at a premium. Heck, we could get this into Newspeak levels of brevity:
Quote:No time now, soon will start thread on coming big news, welcome.
Grammatically dubious and inelegant but I've saved him so much time that he can just tell us what's what right now!
The good think with this thread is you guys get a chance to see how the sausage is made - not just the end product itself. It's an honor and a privilege to able to see all of the real inner workings and not just to see the end product - which can very well not be what you think it is without access to the process utilized to make the product. It's this that helps to keep this board special, and I feel glad to able to provide you guys special access on occasion.
At the 11th hour, the big event that I told you about is going to be pushed out by a year at least - and it's possible it will never happen. Some of the sports fans on here should be relieved that a major landscape change was avoided. Others should be saddened by not getting the access that they feel is deserved by their rooting interest. What is fortunately true for all is that the efforts in organically growing the product can yield a rich harvest if the hard work is put in - but not for all. But there again, that's the way of the world. Opportunity abounds if you know where to look. The probability of hard work paying off is quite high in some pursuits while in others you will need significant infusions of talent and/or luck in order to pull it off. And on top of that, some consideration due to effective networking helps too.
That's all I have for now. I'll share more info whenever I can.

TLDR: As has happened before, you have nothing but wanted some attention.
You're welcome.
