A note: WPU HC Claude Shields graduated from UNC in 2010 and played JV ball under C.B.

“We are currently not receiving a feed for this event.” Error on Roku

Other CAA event feeds are working fine.

I know some people are fans of it, but by and large I think Roku is garbage.

There isn't even a watch option for the game on uncwsports.com Just an audio link. Seems UNCW is not providing a video feed?..........

I agree. Very frustrating. I sure hope they provide a feed of the Stanford game next Friday.

36-27 UNCW at the half. Sounds like we didn't play with much effort the last 10 minutes.

Much better effort to start the 2nd half. On a 14-1 run so far.

80-52 final... Some good, some bad, but at least all the games count going forward.

Sounds like they just got lazy to end the first half is all.

Yeah, hopefully that's it. Hard to tell these kind of things by just listening. 14 turnovers against a D3 school is concerning. 5-25 from 3 and 13-24 from the Free Throw Line are not great either. Missing almost half your free throws can be a killer in a game with an equal opponent. There was never going to be to much to take from this matchup anyways. We should have a good idea at what we have after Tuesday night in Buies Creek.

Rueben, I remember that saying. Think we probably said that to each other as we were game planning at Mitch's Tavern before a night on Hillsborough St. And you are correct, my mother who is a Peace grad, is a Saint.

RE: Next up: William Peace University (Nov 2)
Alright, went to the game here is my two cents:
The good:
- First and foremost, Toews is flat out LEGIT! Great poise and incredible court vision out there for a freshman. Plays under control, and even when he had a chance to force the issue he doesn't. And he plays both ends he defended pretty well too. He already appears to be a leader.
- Cylla could prove to be a beast. He has to stay out of foul trouble, he picked up two cheap ones tonight.
- Taylors stroke is still great
-Ellmore played ok. Certainly not as bad as some folks here make him out to be.
-Halftime adjustments haven't exactly been CB's fortay, but tonight he appeared to make some adjustments at halftime.

The bad:
- Perimeter D is still bad. That was almost the sole source of the run before halftime, not defending the 3.
- 3 point shooting was atrocious, i think i heard 5-25? With a PG with vision like Toews, the shooters need to be in position and ready to shoot because he will find them. I think we shot at least 3/4 airballs tonight from 3, and that was against a significantly smaller team.
- Gary, to me, i'm not really sure what he offers. Had some silly turnovers, his shot isn't great.
- our big guys FT shooting was terrible. O'connell wasn't close on 4 attempts, except one he banked in. CaCock's attempts were not great either

That's pretty much it for me, I'll be interested to see how Towes plays against Clemmons on Tuesday. We need to play better Tuesday than we did tonight.
Oh, and our very own 08 did a solid job on the mic! The first time you pull out a stuttering papapapa ponder call like the old guy, I'm done
