Don't forget: Men's basketball this Thursday, Nov. 1
It's fun to be excited about UAB football as November rolls around, but let us not forget that we have a men's basketball exhibition game on Thursday night, vs. Morehouse.

I was not able to attend the Georgia exhibition so I am looking forward to seeing the new guys play.

First actual game is next Tuesday, Nov. 6, at home vs. Mercer.

Unfortunately November 1st is my wedding anniversary and so I have other plans. Fall weddings are the gift that keeps on giving.

Believe me I tried! If it tipped off at 6 instead of 7 we could have watched some of it, but oh well. We will be there for Mercer.

If we're gonna be an aggressive team offensively and defensively we have got to hit free throws and not miss layups. We did not score a field goal until the 14 minute mark...6 minutes!
