Maction: Miami Oh vs Buffalo game notes
Buffalos pass offense is unstoppable tonight. A. Johnson is just playing catch with Tyreek Jackson. Buffalo does not have a power run game but a scat back style for a nice balance. Big oline protects well again 4 man rush. Tj had a cannon arm and runs better than he looks. Can be picked if u flush him and force a bad decision. He had some real effective runs and at 6'7 is a better athlete than u might expect.

Miami had to blitz to establish pressure. Their d doesnt appear to be overly stout. Cbs seem vulnerable but buffalo just toying w them.

Miami qb Ragland is a quick runner and adequate passer. Think a better Childers.

The ground game has a real good power back. #26.

They are not an explosive offense but as I type this Ragland hits a big td down the middle taking advantage of the bills D. This is an efficient O. Qb does a nice job.

This is a solid team w a big oline which made nice holes to run.

Miami special teams blocks a punt and recovered onside kick.

Buffalo D is quick but can be run on. In fact they don't look very good as Miami has put up 42 at end of 3rd Q. They have a good lb and can't be run around but u can run thru them.

Buffalo up 6 as they just missed the XP.

The size of their QB & WRS is something we can only dream of.....

Their RB just made a nice move for a TD. He’s a true freshman.

Buffalo True Freshman running backs are shifty. Run hard. Buffalo QB is massive. Runs well.

Both Defenses are suspect.

Is it just me, or were any of you unimpressed with Toledo vs WMU?

Haven't seen either game yet though I've started watching the Toledo WMU game, haven't gotten very far yet. Sometimes a good, efficient offense can make a defense that you thought was good suddenly look not so good, especially in the passing game. So I'm hopeful but trying not to read too much into it.

Buffalo's QB does not do a very good job of protecting the ball in the pocket. Our defensive line thrives in strip sacks (especially Sutton). I like our chances if our offensive coaches do their jobs.

It was not an impressive game. We left our defense in Mt. Pleasant .

In that game both Offenses moved with ease. Wmu stalled more often but I wasn't impressed with Toledo's defense. They can be run on.
Both teams had the backup qb in due to injury.
WMU's d was even worse but statistically overall they are better. Their message forum doesn't like their d much if at all. They enjoy their O.

Neither team is better than NIU but both can beat NIU. While I respect their teams I do feel NIU should be favored in the matchups.

If you are asking, NIU has a great chance to win the west but it won't be easy.

I don't think there's a single person on Earth that is impressed with Toledo's defense. We make backup QB's look like Heisman Hopefuls.

Watched most of the Toledo/WMU game and agree each teams D made BOTH #2QB's looked Heisman worthy...LOL

I'm still scratching my head about all the points scored last night by Miami (OH) and Buffalo. Is Buffalo's D also bad or Miami O that good?

I'm really confused about the MAC this year....

Based upon these 2 games it seems the Ds are bad and the offenses good but I'm not completely convinced. Yeah I'm not sure either.

It is hard to make a blanket statement other than NIU D great and O poor.

I'd go on to say they are the worst of these 5. Damn that is sad.

Ok, those were my thoughts exactly. I'm hopeful we can beat both of those team's, but I realize it won't be easy.
