Ironic how close cmu and niu are in the rankings yet have completely different won lose records.

Shocked to see Akron D so high but they might not score against NIU.

I like to look at yards and points per game since every team hasn't played the same amount of games yet.

ESPN has the Huskies at 128th for yards per game and 127th for points per game out of 130 teams. On defense the Huskies are ranked 33rd for yards allowed per game and tied for 28th with Buffalo for points allowed per game.

Thanks. Absorbing stats can be fun.

These numbers don't take into account NIU's toughest non-conference schedule in the nation either. If we played an fcs or other low level team our ranking most certainly would have gone up.
