It happens every year. At or near the first of October they are out there until election day and then they are gone. While I support a women's right to choose, I don't want abortions any more than the next person. I would prefer they don't get pregnant to begin with. But I can't get behind their cause as to them it only appears to be about politics and elections and not women and children.

but this sort of response demonstrates that you don't understand (intentional?) the issue. His parents were here legally. They used THEIR LEGAL STATUS HERE IN THE COUNTRY to become citizens. As I'm sure you know, they were pregnant when they were granted entry to the country. Even by the simplest of definitions, he was not an 'anchor baby', since it was their visa that 'anchored' them here.

Trump (IMO) doesn't have the power to do this, but he DOES have the power to put this front-and-center and that is what he has chosen to do. It's then up to the court to decide if he has the power or not, and then the Congress (but not the court) to address it (or not)

Having people come here illegally, and then use the birth of a child as a means to legitimize that illegal act is an issue for the right. If it's not an issue for the mainstream left, fine... but it's an issue for the right. I am aware that for at least some who lean left but came here in a similar means to Jindahl's family (legally) this is also an issue for them. This is (in part) why California's decision to let people here illegally vote in some elections and Trump's focus on the issue are pertinent.

The leftists are so nuts that after Trump tweeted about a Dodger/Sox WS game Joe and Mika claimed it was
a coded tweet dog whistle for a white nationalist to go kill people. Trump tweeted along the lines of don't take the starter out of the game when he dominating only to have the relief pitchers give up a bunch of runs. This is how insane these people are.
