Is the NFL Going To Establish A Minor League system??
And I don’t mean any type of college football either. A real, honest to goodness minor league system like MLB, or the NHL, or even the NBA with its G League. I believe the potential is there.

Why would they? They have a perfect minor-league system now Football is extremely expensive and the vast majority of talent does it make it through And unlike basketball and baseball the difference between an 18-year-old and a 21-year-old is vast in terms of football impact

I don’t think so either but if they did, it’d need to abide by a few things other sports don’t like an age limit.

It would mean a lot more job for locals and a lot more teams for athletes to play for. I think that it would be a great concept, but it might be a little pricey to get off the ground. The TV revenue alone and sponsorships might help, but will the fans want to see football all year round?

Maybe!!!

RE: Is the NFL Going To Establish A Minor League system??
Pretty Uncanny, I've been doing this at work during the holidays and its crazy how close your thoughts on a minor league system and mine are. They're 90% identical! I even took to giving mine team colors and names (I know, but this is how I relax). I tried using the latest AAF names along with historic NFL and pro football/sports names where applicable with a quasi-link to the Parent team. I’ve split them into United/World Football Conferences:
Team (Parent team)
UFC WEST
Portland Maroons (Seattle Seahawks)
Salt Lake Stallions (Denver Broncos)
Sacramento Pioneers (San Francisco 49ers)
Oakland Sea Devils (Las Vegas Raiders)
WFC WEST
San Diego Fleet (LA Chargers)
Mexico City Matadors* (LA Rams)
Albuquerque Bats (Arizona Cardinals)
San Antonio Commanders (Houston Texans)
UFC SOUTH
Columbus Maulers (Cincinnati Bengals)
Kentucky Mammoths <Louisville> (Tennessee Titans)
Memphis Express (New Orleans Saints)
Oklahoma Oilers <OKC> (Dallas Cowboys)
WFC SOUTH
Norfolk Cougars (Carolina Panthers)
Birmingham Iron (Atlanta Falcons)
Orlando Apollos (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
Havana Breakers* (Miami Dolphins)
UFC NORTH
Milwaukee Lumberjacks (Green Bay Packers)
Iowa Barnstormers <Des Moines> (Minnesota Vikings)
Omaha Hotshots (Kansas City Chiefs)
St Louis Gunners (Indianapolis Colts)
WFC NORTH
Toronto Bison* (Buffalo Bills)
Canton Bulldogs (Cleveland Browns)
PA Keystoners <Harrisburg> (Pittsburgh Steelers)
Grand Rapids Rampage (Detroit Lions)
UFC EAST
Hartford Colonials (New England Patriots)
Long Island Sharks (New York Jets)
Providence Steamrollers (New York Giants)
Richmond Generals (Washington Redskins)
WFC EAST
London Legends* (Jacksonville Jaguars)
Dublin Dragons* (Baltimore Ravens)
Berlin Thunder* (Chicago Bears)
Frankfurt Galaxy* (Philadelphia Eagles)

After the XFL and AAF merger --XAF--, the NFL will make them development leagues.
