LF has been improved in anticipation of their new AAF professional football team, the Birmingham Iron

Were we hoping for them?
I know nothing. lol
They beat Tulane...sigh
Got destroyed by ranked teams however beat a then ranked NC State team and destroyed Duke in the last game. If our D sucks as bad as it did against UCF, we will get destroyed IMO

I’m not expecting much. The place is freakin awful. My only hope is that parking won’t be as awful considering attendance will be MUCH lower this year. Wake won’t travel nearly as well as Auburn did and a lot of Memphis fans aren’t returning.

It's against a SEC team. Usually on a Saturday so I don't have to miss work. You can drive back and forth on game day and not have to stay in Hotel. I don't believe the stadium is that bad, except the concessions are horrible.
They've put a little money into LF. Concessions are better than when you were last here, although that isn't saying much. Lesion Field is still a dump. Try Saw's BBQ.
We'll have the new stadium with all the bells and whistles in 2021. Till then we're stuck with it.
Are you saying that the Birmingham Bowl will be held at your on-campus stadium after it is completed? I just can't see that.

But how many seats? I promise you, if the SEC stays affiliated with the bowl, 35,000 seats isn't gonna be enough.

I doubt the bowl cares about that.
They'll just move to the ACC or whatever.

Offering an inferior product at a supreme price is just bad business. And common sense. Nope, Memphis better step up the Fogelman College of Business.
Nobody's taking that deal. That's just common sense. Why is Memphis over-complicating it?
