We've parked at Madtree before and Ubered to the game for about $10 I think it was . Its a great option . Be careful of weekend evenings tho because of demand that fare may be jacked up.

I think you are really overthinking this. There are a ton of options to park around campus. Uber is also a decent option as well, but you are at the mercy of their schedules and pricing.

Seems to me the campus routinely handles 30,000 + for football games between cash garages and street parking with good efficiency. So 12,012 for basketball should be even easier. After football road trips to MI, OSU and Tennessee, I think the concerns about the time it takes to leave campus and get off the hilltop are overstated. Living (and parking) in Greater Cincinnati remains relatively easy.

This. You can park over by ludlow/Jefferson and have about a 15 minute walk to campus. Then after the game you can sneak around traffic by heading to St Benard before hopping on 75.

When I lived in Norwood I would take Uber/Lift if I was planning to having more than 2 or 3 beers...or if I was planning to go out after. I wouldn't go to madtree and uber down. Plenty of good parking, Clifton isn't that hard to get out of (especially with MLK) and a ton of place to go have good beer if you want before the game.

Why not just have your chauffeur drop you off and then pick you up?

Who gets a 3 way? No reasonable person gets their Cincinnati chili without onions.

I've built up a tolerance to 4 and 5-ways... the only way I can get my fix is with a 6-way from Blue Ash Chili.

Onions ruin everything. 4-way bean is the way to go.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

Shallow analysis. Many basketball games are on weekdays nights when employees and night student parking is involved. FB games are typically on Saturdays when these elements are less involved.

Shallow analysis by Doss.

1) How many people are on campus for non-sports activities on weekday evenings?
2) Of those, how many use parking facilities versus how many walk, use Uber, etc.
3) What is the capacity re: traffic movement of the streets surrounding campus?
4) How is the ability for traffic to exit the garages and use the streets affected by uniformed traffic control officers?

Shallow indeed. You should have studied statistics (not stats for business majors) while at UC. That would gain you the ability to recognize undue criticism of a long-time, loyal, Bearcat fan and to offer data that would support your position.

I would only add, there are relatively few evening classes today compared with the heyday of the (now defunct) Evening College of the late 20th century. I taught evenings as an adjunct instructor for several years this past decade. A more residential population of traditional undergraduates has migrated to daytime course offerings. They have more enjoyable activities in the evenings these days I suppose!
