MAC POWER RANKINGS (post week 9)
BOOM:
UB- idle
NIU- GOOD boring WIN in Provo

POW:
Ohio- starting to elevate
EMU- hey, Army isn't easy to stop

SCREECH:
Toledo- back on track?
Miami- idle
Akron- back on track?
WMU- they are who we thought they were

WHIF:
Ball State- slowing down
Kent State- idle
CMU- bad
BGSU- idle

As much as Thursday justifiably crashed us back down to earth, I think you still have to keep the Broncos above Akron. No offense to the Zips, but squeaking by KSU and CMU doesn't constitute "back on track".

Now if they beat NIU next week, you've got something there...

They aren't really in order per say, just grouped by tier...

Miami lost to WMU by 1 so yhey are basically neck and neck. They also played Army tougher than EMU or UB.

Western also outgained Miami 562 to 348 at Miami. That was one of those games where we be team dominates and the other figures out a way to stay close. I think if we played again on a neutral field we win by 14 plus.

As ugly as Western was last Thursday it was 4 days after a rivalry game. I think that part of the explanation for the blow up was the team not showing up.
