Give Carey credit for game planning around the teams strengths. To date this season has been defined by two missed FGs EMU and BYU. Carey has been on the winning end of both. It’s a much different season if those FGs were made. Big W yesterday.

Gantz hit the goal post from 40 yesterday while the BYU kicker missed from 51. Based on your logic we should have won 10-9 instead of 7-6. You're right about EMU though.

Which missed fg? A 51 yd byu fg is by no means easy especially in college. NIU also missed a much closer one when it hit the upright.

The emu miss was a gift. Can you imagine the west standings if emu won?
