In an October 1939 broadcast, after the fall of Poland, he mentioned (among other things) the British response to the German U-boat onslaught. He told the nation that the British had suffered losses, "But the Royal Navy has immediately attacked the U-boats and is hunting them night and day -- I will not say without mercy, because God forbid we should ever part company with that -- but at any rate with zeal, and not altogether without relish."

That seems like a fair aim. And one can almost hear the relish with which he would have said the word "relish".

So are you suggesting "Intellectual Zealous, but Merciful, Brutality Applied with Relish" as a tag line?

BTW - I like dill relish. Never understood why only sweet relish is available a gameday hot dogs.

Why am I not surprised that George managed to use the word 'eschew' --- one of those words you hear about once every four years.

Not to belabor the point, but when the entire first team O-line was in the game, the wildcat worked fairly well. In addition, when the entire starting D-line was in the game, UNT's rushing attack was somewhat kept under control. When Abercrumbia and Wilkins weren't both in the game, the UNT rushing game was more effective.
