This is unacceptable.
You’ve been our ***** in basketball for 30 years. Why did you think football would be different once we figure it out.

Congrats to Charlotte on the win. If you had been a Southern Miss fan for many years, you would understand the frustration of our fan base. Good luck the rest of the year.

If you want to really know frustration, try losing to teams that just will not let you. How in the world are we going to get a new coach at this rate?

We understand our basketball program was very similar to the level your football team was at. Hopefully it won’t take over a decade for you guys to figure out. Hopefully we have our basketball coach now but wevstill have a long way to go.

Stick to bball commentary. Offense is not terrible or boring as you normally post and defense is a heck of a lot better than "decent ".
Other than lemay and Tucker there is very little talent. We barely moved the ball after the first quarter. The offense scored 7 points yesterday. The offense is dreadful...and boring. Bad play calling, bad execution. You must be easily excitable if you think our offense is entertaining to watch.
The defense is great at some things but bad at others, hence the decent. We still give up a lot of plays in the passing game.
Again, stick to bball. Your football analysis is seriously lacking.

Good luck to USM the rest of the season. I have always admired your football program and tradition. I met a couple of your fans yesterday. Good people. I thought your second string QB showed a lot of potential and moved the ball well. We are still getting our athletics in order after the last 15 years of embarrassment. I finally feel like we have the leadership to get us there. I hope the same for you guys.

Doubt it. Your offense is much better though.
We held UTEP to 20 yards rushing and 101 passing. UAB has a bettter D than Charlotte

Fixed!
Our fans aren't really putting Charlotte down...It coulda been FIU, ODU or FAU we had lost to, and we would still feel the same. We are a turnover machine, and while Charlotte's D had a lot to do with it, we've turned the ball over against EVERYONE.
This is, of course, LOSER'S talk, because teams that lose normally do so BECAUSE THEY TURN THE FRIGGIN' BALL OVER!
It is frustrating to keep moving the ball up and down the field (with a top 20 defense backing them up) and getting NO results, so Charlotte is just the team right now we are taking those frustration out on.
Good Luck the rest of the way Charlotte!

I beg to differ. Charlotte held MT to 144 total yards at MT.

Thank you! USM essentially played the same game that Charlotte played last week against MT.

A Blue Raider and a Blazer arguing over whether or not Charlotte is the best defensive team in the conference. Those odds are longer than winning the Powerball.

Uab’s defense is much better.
Charlottes strength is the run game. If you will throw to the sidelines, or have a wr sit down in the middle of the zone, you can go for days.
I’m not sure why this is a secret, but Hopson sure didn’t figure it out.
