I wouldn't be surprised if the AP voters next week started putting UCF in the top 4 in the polls. I think they'll do this knowing it won't matter but they can then say they were fair.

Yeah, that didn't happen last year. They were ranking us better than the CFP, but I doubt we move up past 7 in AP even if we win out. I think we start 12 in CFP rankings, capped at 8.

i could see UCF being ranked 8th after this impressive win.

There's a chance we start getting top 4 votes, if things work out that our SoS appears better, by season's end, or Top 4 teams start taking multiple tumbles. But I wouldn't hold my breath. Sports reporters take more comfort in being like their cohorts, than being right about a team, or being popular amongst CFB fans. Never know when you'lll need that next job, amirite? Yah......

According to Massey the Sos right now is 104. Temple is ranked 60th, Navy 104, Cincinnati is 49, USF is 56.

Massey gives both SOS (for games already played) and "Strength of Schedule - Full" listed as SSF.
Doesn't always render on phone/tablet for me so you might need to be on laptop or desktop.

UCF's SSF comes in at 88. Well behind contenders for the #4 slot, but essentially a wash with the one-loss non-contract-bowl-conference NY6 hopefuls (Fresno 81, Houston 93, Utah State 100, Buffalo 105). I believe that that doesn't include the yet-to-be-scheduled conference championship games.
