2019 Player Discussion Thread: Zeke Moore
Sophomore G Zeke Moore
Last year, Tulsa ranked 178th nationally in 3-point shooting. It was the highest finish in 6 years.
College basketball has increasingly become a 3-point shooters' game with a record 38% of all shots coming from deep last year. More than ever before, you need shooters to win. And that's one thing Zeke Moore can definitely do. Rumor has it, when Moore showed up to visit campus in 2017 and the coaching staff ran him through their normal workout, he broke the record in every shooting drill they had.
With the graduation of 126 made threes from last year's team, there's an immediate role available for a shooter. The rest of his game? Well, it's a work in progress. And he'll join the monster sophomore class with 3 years to round out it out. But, for now, he can shoot. And you need shooters to win.
