RE: Offical WKU season tickets all gone
I remember when UNT had a start player in Tony Mitchell. Lots and lots of scouts came out and we were hoping he could help lead us back to the NCAA tourney. Unfortunately, he was talented (drafted in the second round) but he wasn't as good as hoped for and wasn't one to be a team leader. We also had Tony Benford as head coach which really doomed the team.

Hopefully, y'all have much more success ... except for the games against UNT. You can go ahead and beat everyone else, though. :)

The fighting Tony Mitchell's, as we called that UNT team, remember that team very well, UNT had 3 high ranking recruits.

Teeng Akol out played Tony in the finials of the SBC Tourney and Western won their 4th game in 4 days, In Hot Springs. That was my first conference tourney in 3 years and my son and I haven;t missed one since

I watched Bassey drop 30 in the scrimmage the other day. Granted, just a scrimmage. But the whole team is just really impressive. The buzz here is unbelievable.

I am FIRED UP right now. Seriously. Marshall only has a few hundred season tickets left as well. No idea how many we sell though. Just going by the interactive thing online to purchase tickets with.

WKU, ODU, Marshall should all be really good this year.

North Texas and UTSA could end up being really good too.

UAB is always solid.

UTEP and Charlotte is getting things together and when that happens we are going to have a REALLY good basketball conference imo.

UAB is not solid with that clown coach they have...He is the Mike Sanford of CuSA hoops....I have a feeling UAB is getting ready to fall off a cliff this season, lost a lot of seniors and a lot of guys transferred out. Sounds familiar to WKU football fans.

That's awesome! It's weird how the MT/WKU programs have been the inverse of each other for many years now.

I'd love to say I'm looking forward to the games this year, but expectations are just so low.

Congrats on selling out this year!!
