Shoulder. Came down hard on it. Couldn't lift his arm to throw afterwards. Didn't look good.

RE: Mitch injured?
Self inflicted really.
It was a HORRIBLE decision to run with 10 seconds on the clock needing ten yards for a field goal try. Throw the quick pass or throw it away was the decision.
Not to mention the decision to pass with the ball on the 10 and a minute to go. These plays are run pass options and he always seems to make bad reads and bad throws.

Even his concussion was on a play where he failed to slide properly. I do not need to see QBG on the field anymore personally

I think his running brings an important dimension, but unless he starts taking care of himself he's making himself a consumable.

Running in high school when you're one of the bigger and definitely one of the faster guys, is one thing.....

Woodside was smart in his development. He didn't run until he had A LOT of experience reading the field and knowing when to run, when not to run and when his running added another distraction to the defense. G needs to keep his feet planted for a year or so or he won't have a head to tell his feet what to do.

RE: Mitch injured?
I'm guessing he has a shoulder separation based on how he landed. Those types of tackles where the shoulder pad hits first are usually broken collar bones or shoulder separations. If the latter, he will probably not play against Ball State, but could be ready for NIU.

Also seems he was playing pretty well and was not nearly ready to come back from the concussion against Buffalo.

He's a good running QB, but not elusive enough to avoid some big hits, and not big enough to dole out the punishment. Guys like Lynch were in that 6'0 and 220 range with good speed. He was compact enough and fast enough that he rarely took a big hit from the LB's. The DB's that were usually tackling him in the secondary got the worst of those collisions.

Peters is smart enough to not run. At 6'2 and 190 - he better work on making sure he has somebody to throw to every time he drops back. Should also practice sliding to make sure he doesn't pull a slide that Haskins for OSU did in a game. Surprised he didn't break his leg or end up with a serious knee injury.

RE: Mitch injured?
UT does not need Mitch to play against BSU. Peters can be the man again, especially at home. Would like to see Reese get some playing time at QB?
