Nice job, Rockets!
Strong bounce back tonight. Offense played well, line may have played its best game of the season, and we really only stopped ourselves. Defensive play was a bit uneven—at times we made that true freshman QB look all-Conference (he was no slouch, though), but late in the 3rd qtr and all thru the 4th the D buckled down.

With 4 games to go things just got interesting again.

Need to keep the momentum going against Ball State on Halloween. Good news is that the Cardinals also played tonight so no advantage for them in the short week ahead.

RE: Nice job, Rockets!
Finally got to see the O-line executing to near perfection on the night. With the advantage of the DVR and being able to re-run plays in slow motion, I focused on the blocking of the O-line and other than 3 plays (excluding mop up duty with 2 minutes left in the game) they did not miss assignments. One that was missed was because another lineman was being held and got in the way of the right tackle pulling to the left - and he didn't get to his block which ended up in a 2 yard loss on a run. Pass protection was the best all year. They played with an attitude and I would imagine the coaches may be awarding the team ball to the o-line. If not they should.

Defense had a couple of major let downs in the first half, and still played soft through much of the 3rd quarter - which was not as much of an issue with having a quick 13 then a nearly as quick 20 point lead in the 3rd.

Good job. I thought we had the talent on both the lines, I just hope they have decided to start "punching back" instead of taking an ass-kicking and accepting it. Now just keep doing it. The O-line looked really good. I have no idea how good the WMU defense is, but they got "bit$h slapped" pretty good tonight.

WMU did beat EMU. Loved the win but 2-9 for 3rd down conversion. Only one rushing TD. Too many missed/broken arm tackles. Need better coverage. Still a few too many
penalties. Not having enough players on the line is inexcusable. The call on Rosi was total BS. Need a better job by the left side of the Rocket OL. Keep improving. 04-cheers

Lots of potential and little time to get it to show for the entire game but they did it, even with a QB change. It's a long shot to get to MACC but a Bowl game is still a fair target. I think a win-out is doeable for this team. League has a fair shot at a nice OOC result today too.

It's been a very fun team to watch, followed by a lot of meme type heads on the hands halves. My want would be to stop seeing drives stopped by penalties and continue to let the D play. regardless the risk someone gets behind them. Make their QB hit it if it happens.

Very proud of the bounce back, just can never tell with college football. Kudos to the coaches and players. Watching NIU BYU was interesting. Niu is lights out on D. Very discipline and hard nosed, BYU I don’t think has our weapons on offense.

Not the same BYU Toledo played. 25 Freshmen have played this season. 10 have started including the youngest QB to ever start at BYU. 11 if the Kicker is counted. To the me the Utah game is more impressive for the Huskies. Utes have a tradition of Defense and are a very explosive Offense.

Holy Toledo, 7-6? I guess that's not the same team we played.

I think BYU pulled a Carey. Their starting QB had a bad game against 7-1 Utah State so they put the freshman in for the Hawaii game and he did well. Hawaii's defense isn't very good though. It's possible BYU would have been better served by leaving the more experienced guy in at QB.
