You may not be a uniform guy, but if you don't like this one, you are dead inside.

The Space Mountain / retro-60's futuristic font puts these over the top

Well considering NAFTA killed the citrus industry in Central Florida I'm not sure going back to that mascot makes sense.

They are sick uni's and they actually have meaning behind them, which is cool.

There should be a space/NASA trophy for the UCF/Houston game.

I would be all for something like that if we had permanent crossover games. But as we don't, we go with 2 year gaps in the schedule.

That would be a cool idea.

Team play every 2 out of 4 years (not counting any AAC Champ Game match-ups...which actually never happened yet...in AAC or in CUSA.

NAFTA?
Try multiple years of hard freezes followed closely by the spread of citrus greening disease.

Yeah...the Christmas Freeze in the early 80's...then 2 or 3 more hard freezes over next 10 years (including the morning of the Space Shuttle Disaster) basically killed the Citrus Crops in 95% of Orange/Lake Counties...as it takes over 7 years for a grower to finally bare fruit...and most just gave up and sold to developers.

Remaining growers moved to St Lucie County as no one wanted to plant trees north of Vero Beach. (too risky of another freeze)

I use to drive the back way into the Magic Kingdom Employee Parking lot down Apopka Vineland/535 and from Apopka to Winter Garden...it was nothing but Citrus Trees for miles and miles and miles and miles. Now...its mostly homes.

As someone with experience, there were some bad freezes in the 2000s as well. My parents owned 500+ acres of orange groves forever and there were a couple years I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s that were pretty devastating. I remember being up all night keeping smudge pots burning or just watering the trees down so they would freeze (the trees are actually safer frozen than not when the temp gets into the low 20s). Eventually the offer to turn our land into suburbia just became too great to pass on. But yea, NAFTA ... totally.

Just think. Some of these kids may end up on Mars in their lifetime or even a moon base. That is, if the aliens let us. 03-shhhh

I didn't like the uniforms. My 11 year old son did.

I think teams can do what they want with uniforms, but should stick to their own colors in doing so. To me, that didn't look like UCF out there last night.

Maybe it shouldn't bug me, but it just does.

Uniforms are up to buy. Starting bid is $1000 for any. I don't know if they will be able to sell 100+ at that price, but #10 is already at $4000
