I would gladly miss a basketball game for us to go to NOLA.

Except for the Gildan thing in Albuquerque, the Nola Bowl is the least-desirable matchup the league has. The top two are ServPro in Dallas and Gasparilla in Tampa. Unless UAB (or whoever it turns out to be) can somehow get into NY6, they’ll pick one of those 2

One of the biggest misconceptions I’ve seen is that the conference winner gets to DECIDE which bowl they want. That’s not true. ADs themselves have said that the winning team gets a say in the process but ultimately ESPN gets to decide where the teams play. For example, pretty much only UNT or LA Tech will be put in the Servpro Bowl because those are the 2 teams that will bring the most fans there. It’s also why FAU makes the most sense for the Boca Bowl, because ESPN wants to maximize their investments. I think UNT ends up in the Servpro Bowl but probably will play an alternate non-P5 team.

Going to be pretty embarrassing to be playing an Auburn home game in Birmingham. I hope UAB's bowl game is better than the NO Bowl and doesn't conflict with such an important basketball game.

I'm still interested to see how the CUSA champ game works out since Legion Field has the SWAC championship that weekend as far as signage and field logos. Best of luck to you guys.

I guess if this time last year "seems like ages ago", I could see how 2013 would seem like a "very long time" ago.

They are all the same to me at this point. Just as long as We are going. I personally would mind being back in the Metro-Plex
